Summer Camp 2013 - an Angels Adventure around the World

Dates: 1 July  to 23 August  (9:00 am to 3.30 pm)

Ages: 2 to 6 years old

Join the Angels Kindergarten team and take a trip around the world this summer! Angels Kindergarten Summer Camp 2013 focuses on learning all about different countries and cultures, with different activities to enjoy the wonders the world has to offer.

Join the camp to visit all 7 continents with the special Angels Passport, Angels Account and the Angels Travel Bag.

Each week will consist of classes with art, drama, indoor roller blading, cooking, English, math, science, Chinese and more! Each class will also follow a story about different characters travelling the world, such as Flat Stanley, Tintin, and more. Each student will be equipped with an Angels Passport, where they will receive stickers and stamps for different countries that they visit. Each student will also have an Angels Account where they can earn Angels Dollars to do more and buy souvenirs on their trip so as to teach little kids the value and role of money in daily life. Lastly, each little Angel will have their essentials in their school bags to hand-carry for the great trip!

For each theme, students will learn how to say “hello” and “goodbye” in different languages, as well as learn words for the letters of the alphabet assigned to the week. Students in K1 and K2 will also have an English Language lesson every day, focused on preparation for Primary School.

Fees: one week at 1,540 RMB, 2 weeks at 1,490 RMB per week, 3 weeks at 1,440 RMB per week, and 4 weeks at 1,390 RMB per week (including lunch and snacks). Flexible schedules with half-day or full-day choices.

SCIS Pudong LS CampusSummer Kids Camp 2013

Dates: 17 June to 12 July

SCIS Summer Kids Camp has an action packed program of developmentally appropriate activities, specifically designed with the early learner in mind. Activities will include games, sports, outdoor play, swimming, field trips, art, music, language, culture, and free play. Children will be provided with various opportunities to work together, play, and have fun with their friends!

Fees: Full-day (8:00am to 3:00pm) program costs 3,000 RMB for each 1-week session. Half-day (8:00am to 12:00pm) program costs 2,000 RMB for each 1-week session. Both full-day and half-day tuition includes lunch and all activities/field trips. Transportation is optional, and costs 350 RMB/per child for each 1-week of service. Bus routes will be determined at the end of the registration period.

Students who will have completed Nursery through Grade Six during the 2012-2013 school year, and non-SCIS students are all welcome.

Learn Putonghua at YK Pao School Summer Camp 2013

Dates: 1 to 12 July and 15 to 26 July

Ages: 5 to 12 years old

Enjoy a summer of learning and fun in Shanghai at YK Pao School! The Putonghua Summer Camp at YK Pao School is the ideal program for non-native Putonghua speakers to learn the language in a fun and supportive environment and experience Chinese culture while living in Shanghai.

Camp Highlights include: Total immersion in Chinese, performances and drama, daily language exchange with native Putonghua speakers, small class sizes and instruction from highly-experienced native Putonghua teachers from YK Pao School. Other activities are available, including: language, arts and crafts, sports, drama, music, Lego, cooking, swimming and Chinese cultural excursions. Students of 9 years old and above will spend a night at the Secondary Songjiang Campus, boarding with local Chinese students from YK Pao School.
