Stunning IB Results for Dulwich College Beijing
Congratulations to the Dulwich College Beijing graduating IB class of 2013. Their results, released in early July, are exceptional.
The largest graduating group of 92 students sat exams this year and achieved the remarkable overall average of 36.6 compared to the world average of 29.81. Some 30 per cent of students scored 40 points or above out of maximum possible 45 and 70 per cent of students achieved top scores in Mandarin.
Four Dulwich students – Biko Mizuno, Benjamin Tan, Christina Lin and Sharmaine Wong – scored a perfect 45 out of 45.
This was a result achieved only by 108 students out of approximately 60,000 students who sat the prestigious diploma in May 2013.
Head of the Senior School Simon Herbert congratulated all Year 13 students on their excellent examination results. “I am absolutely delighted that the hard work of our students has been well rewarded by these remarkable results. Our students have proved that they can gain the highest results whilst also committing themselves to service to others, sport and the performing arts,” he said. “I congratulate them and would also like to thank all their teachers who have given tirelessly of their time and expertise”.
