The British International School, Puxi elected its co-presidents of the student council in September. There were 15 students in the running, and they each presented their case for why they should be made President in front of the whole of the secondary school. The election saw dances, humor and audience participation and then everyone got the chance to mark their ballot sheet and vote. The students that were voted in as co-presidents were Meagan Tan from Year 10 and Brendan Loo from Year 13.

From Meagan and Brendan: “It’s a great honor to be given the role of student council president and even greater that we have been elected by our schoolmates. We hope to be able to say that we listened and gave the students a voice and that we made a change.”
