The online version of Footprint 2017 from Shanghai Singapore International School (SSIS), the annual anthology of the SSIS students’ best writings in Chinese, was recently launched! The book contains Chinese literary works by the SSIS students across all the Grade levels in various writing genres including narrative, essay, and prose, etc. The writings are not only diverse in style, but also in theme. Between the lines, the true feelings of the authors can be read.

Based on what they have seen, heard and thought, the students managed to create amazing works. The SSIS Chinese teachers encourage every student to read more, think more and practice more to fine tune their writing. The students are inspired via various Chinese culture activities organized on campus and extensive and intensive Chinese reading in the Chinese-friendly learning environment. Chinese writing practices become a pleasant way for the students to express their feelings and thoughts, and to share with the SSIS community and beyond.
