Shanghai Singapore International School (SSIS) celebrates more than two decades of excellence and anticipates more successes in the years ahead. The school wants to recognize its students’ relentless effort in living up to the School Motto of “Striving for Excellence.”

The school is pleased to offer the SSIS IB Scholarship Award to students entering Grade 11 or 12 on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) at the start of each academic year in August.

This scholarship will be awarded to a select number of students on a merit basis. The scholarship is renewable at the end of Grade 11 based on the maintenance of excellent academic achievement and active community involvement.

The SSIS IBDP Scholarship is intended to help the school enroll new students and retain the best students it can, regardless of their families’ ability to pay the tuition. SSIS is looking for candidates who are going to make a difference in the SSIS community – students who lead, students who are talented in a sport or music and students who care about the world and the people around them. SSIS imagines its scholarship students to not only uphold good academic results but also go on to contribute to society in many different ways.

In addition to the submission of application papers and other required documents, potential candidates will be invited for an interview conducted by the SSIS scholarship committee. The results will then be released to the candidate(s) in writing and announced to the community. The school will soon release more details on eligibility and the application process.
