Am I missing any further instructions? The only guideline about what to write is just, “Reflections?”

  13. January 6th, 2012 at 22:13 | #13

    Dear Sara,

The theme for this year is REFLECTIONS… It could be fiction or nonfiction; it could be a short story of 2500 words or just 200-word poem. We are trying to give all the contestants more flexibilities so as to promote creative writing among students.

So, you can write a short story based on your reflections/thoughts on certain issues or your may starts writing a novel with the reflection image in a mirror…
The point is We Want To See Creative Writing from the entries, and of course your English language skills must be very good too!

Thanks again and we look forward to receiving your story soon ~

    January 7th, 2012 at 22:24 | #15

The entry doesn’t have to be strictly a short story? So poems and vignettes are accepted too?

Also, is each individual limited to only one entry?

    Hi Kimberly,
    Poems and vignettes are accepted.
Please submit no more than 3 pieces.
    Thanks!

What if our computer does not have word 97-2003 format but has Word Document Code (.docx) or Word 2003 XML or Word 97-2004 template or Word 97-2004 Doc would would that be okay?
What type of computer would the files be opened with?
Does the title have to be reflection?

  28. January 15th, 2012 at 02:13 | #28

    HI Devin,

As long as it is .doc or docx file, it is accepted.

The title doesn’t have to be “Reflection”, you can make a different title for your write-up.

    Thanks!
