Ivy Art exhibition 1 Ivy Academy had a successful Winter Lights exhibition of children’s work at East Lake villas (our 4th annual event) in December. There were also art and creative activities for parents and children.

There were about 100 drawings, paintings and sculptures all on show with the theme of winter light. About 60 parents attended the event in the Suzhou gardens building at East Lake.

The exhibition was the fourth of its kind. The previous one was called "An afternoon at the museum" and featured work inspired by, and about, the great masters and their masterpieces, and had many paintings and sculptures “in the style of” impressionists, cubists, etc. The other two were both a year’s selection of Ivy kids’ works that our art teacher and class teachers thought the “best” and most interesting.

During each of the shows, there were lots of art activities to do for both the students and parents that were attending.
