ycis-news-university-acceptanceAs of now, Year 13 students at Yew Chung International School of Shanghai’s Century Park and Gubei Campuses have successfully graduated from the Secondary School to start their next adventure – university. After almost a year of researching universities, having countless meetings with their guidance counselors, and writing many university essays, while also balancing the academic demands of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and co-curricular activities, the students have now been reaping the rewards of their hard work. Similar to past years, students from YCIS Shanghai’s Class of 2015 have been accepted to a great number of top universities all around the world.

More impressive is how the students’ university acceptances continue to be a reflection of YCIS’s globally minded and holistic educational mission: to educate students to be aligned “with Culture and Arts, Science and Technology, and Love and Charity.”

Humanities: King’s College London (UK), The London School of Economics (UK), Tufts University (US), New York University (US), McGill University (CA), Durham University (UK), Faculty of Law at University of Hong Kong (HK), and Seoul National University (South Korea);
