ssis-class-of-2016Shanghai Singapore International School (SSIS) 2016 graduates surpass IB diploma world average of 30 points (of 45 possible maximum). The average IB Diploma score of 2016 graduates of SSIS is 33. SSIS graduates have again beaten the average IB Diploma world scores, with their international education opening numerous doors to top universities around the world.

SSIS became the first school in China to offer an IB Career-related Program in 2014. This year three students graduated from this framework of international education. The students’ achievements are well deserved, and they are now more than ready to go on to the next step of their educational journey.

One SSIS student, GOH, Cheng Yen achieved 43 points (out of a maximum of 45 points) equaling the best result for an IB diploma in the school. Less than 1.9 percent of the 150,000 IB Diploma students worldwide in 2016 achieved this remarkable score. Three other students received more than 40 points.

This achievement is a result of the students’ hard work and commitment to strive for excellence, as well as the dedicated efforts of SSIS teachers.

Congratulations go to the students, to their families who supported them through the two challenging years of the IB Diploma Program, and to all of the members of staff who worked alongside them.
