Dulwich Students gain Trinity College London Music Diplomas

Dulwich College Beijing students Anne-Claire Wang, ATCL and Joseph Lim, LTCL, took their Trinity Music Diplomas and achieved Distinctions at the school in June.

Anne-Claire achieved a Distinction in the Associate Trinity College London Diploma in Flute Music Performance and Teaching scoring 83%. The standard of performance is equivalent to the performance component of the first year in a full-time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education establishment. She will be leaving Dulwich for Princeton University, USA.

dcb-joseph_calrinet-sJoseph Lim scored 88% in the Licentiate Trinity College London in Clarinet Music Performance and Teaching. The standard of performance is equivalent to the performance component on completion of a full-time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education establishment. Joseph will be staying in Beijing teaching music before going onto University in 2011.

The two students are now qualified to teach music in their specialized instruments. Dulwich is currently the only school in Beijing to offer Trinity and ABRSM music examinations.
