dcb-ib-resultsIt’s a cause for celebration at Dulwich College Beijing (DCB) as students and teachers are rejoicing in yet another year of marvelous International Baccalaureate (IB) scores after the IB organization announced its June 2017 Diploma Programmed results.

This year DCB entered 68 students (94 percent of the Class of 2017) into the full IB Diploma Programmed, widely recognized as the most rigorous High School qualification globally.

While the world average Diploma score is 30, DCB students achieved a phenomenal 37.60 point average (out of a possible 45), and just under 37% percent of DCB students scored 40 and above. Notably, four members of the Class of 2017 achieved a stunning score of 43 and four pupils attained a nearly perfect score of 44.

“We are delighted to see such strong IB results again at DCB, which reflect the hard work of our talented students and staff,” said DCB Headmaster Simon Herbert. “Strong pastoral care, excellent collaboration and a well balanced curricular and extra-curricular offering are at the heart of a Dulwich education. Well done to all – we are proud of you!”
