On Monday 24 June, the wonderfully talented young pianist Emma Chen from the music department at Wellington College performed with some of her friends, treating the audience to a range of beautiful pieces.

During the hour-long performance, the audience had the chance to listen to some Mozart, Rachmaninov, Chopin, Brahms and Elgar, with Emma’s piano playing accompanied by the cello, violin and bassoon. The concert was brought to a close with Wellington’s Director of Performing Arts, Steve Griffiths, performing a piano duet.

After the performance, members of the audience were cordially invited to join the performers for a cocktail reception.
