Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) welcomes the new school year with five new Canadian teachers and Jill Jollineau - the new principal joining the CISB family.

Jollineau used to be the principal at the Canadian international school in Shenzhen. She has been teaching for the past 25 years, working with high school mathematics for most of her career.

She has a degree in Science from Concordia University, an education degree from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Education degree from the University of New Brunswick.

After obtaining her master’s degree and the principal’s certificate she worked in administration and curriculum consultation. For the past six years, Jollineau has also been a part-time lecturer at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John working with people in the education program and teaching a math methods course to prospective teachers.

Besides these staff changes, the International Baccalaureate Program also commences for CISB Grade 11 students this year. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) will afford successful students with a second diploma, internationally recognized and offered in schools around the world.
