At the event, 120 students from all over the world came together to meet, play, learn and create. After three solid days of work and creative energy, they produced an original piece of theatre based on a theme.

The concept behind this year’s work was “Stories from the Water’s Edge: Indigenous Tales.” BCIS students participated in workshops with more than twenty outstanding theatre professionals including aboriginal artists, acclaimed writers, dancers, technical wizards and highly skilled musicians. The resulting performance was truly impressive. BCIS student attendees all agreed that they had a great time in their ensembles, workshops and field trips as well as socializing with their Australian host families.

BCIS students attending were: Maria Gallegos, Agis Kokkos, Katrina Gallegos, Tjarda Bergsma, Elizabeth Kim, Hylke Bergsma, Vera Braun and Aude Unternahrer.
